NSRP Project is a joint-venture project sponsored by 4 corporations: Idemitsu Kosan Co.,Ltd. and Mitsui Chemical, Inc. from Japan, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), Kuwait Petroleum Europe B.V. (KPE) from Kuwait together invest and operate NSRP Complex that is located 260km away South from Hanoi capital, in Nghi Son Economic Zone, Tinh Gia District, Thanh Hoa Province, Vietnam. Total investment cost of NSRP Project is approximately $9 billion. The refinery has capacity to process 200,000 barrels of Kuwait crude oil per day to produce fuel and petrochemical products.

Song Giang Solar Power J.S.C. operates a 50MW solar power plant in Cam Ranh City, Khanh Hoa Province. This is the first solar power plant developed in Vietnam for Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. The company was established in 2017 co-invested by Shoseki Overseas & Investment K.K. , a group company of Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd., Viet Khanh Joint Stock Company, a multifaceted Vietnamese company, and Dragonfly Capital Ventures LLC, an investment management company headquartered in New York. The power plant starts its operation on May 8th, 2019. The generated power has been sold to Vietnam Electricity under the power purchase agreement for 20 years based on a feed-in-tariff scheme of the Vietnam government. The power generation is approximately 78,600 MWh per year.
