Idemitsu Vietnam Joins Beach Cleanup Campaign 2025: A Strong Commitment to a Greener, Cleaner, and More Sustainable Nghi Son

On June 8th, 2025, Idemitsu Vietnam proudly joined over 400 volunteers in the Beach Cleanup Campaign 2025 held along the coastal area of Nghi Son Bay, Thanh Hoa province. In just 2 hours, approximately 30 tons of waste were collected—marking a powerful act of environmental action in celebration of World Environment Day (June 5).

The event launched the “Nghi Son Green” initiative—a long-term environmental collaboration aimed at driving sustainable development and raising environmental awareness across the Nghi Son Economic Zone. As one of the campaign’s core co-sponsors, Idemitsu Vietnam stands alongside 30 other enterprises in a united front for environmental responsibility.

As part of the campaign, a support package valued at nearly VND 200 million was donated to Nghi Son Commune, including garbage carts, bins, and safety workwear, to improve daily waste management efforts and amplify the long-term environmental impact.

This event marks the beginning of a new chapter in environmental cooperation—where industrial growth goes hand in hand with sustainability. Idemitsu Vietnam is proud to be part of this journey and will continue to actively support future activities under the Nghi Son Green initiative, both as a co-organizer and sponsor.
